Get to Know Jacqueline T. Nguyen, DDS
I love doing what I do because what I can give back to the community, to the patient itself. I came here in the US when I was six. I was raised in Kansas. I went to Wichita North High School, then came here in Texas and did my undergrad at UT Arlington, and then got accepted to Bay College of Dentistry. I got my first experience in dentistry when I was in college. We opened our practice back in 2000. We were the first dentist in Murphy. I am glad and blessed that we are here in Murphy. I enjoy working with our patient here because we are family owned and family run business. We’re starting to see third generation patients. I got to see some of our kids becoming doctors, dentists. I am now getting ready to see their children. It’s a joy to see what you can do and how you can improve somebody’s self-esteem, giving them a beautiful smile, giving them hope when they leave out of here. Some patients, they’re 10 years younger. It’s a joy. It is joy to see that transformation.
Dr. Nguyen’s career in the dental field spans decades, and she continues to have a strong passion for not only staying up-to-date with the latest technological advancements in the field but also caring for families with warm energy and lots of laughter.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Nguyen completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery at Baylor College of Dentistry in 1997 and then obtained a General Practice Residency program at the Dallas Veterans Medical Center. She has also received advanced orthodontic training at the Academy of GP Orthodontics and Molis Invisalign PACE program and is committed to lifelong education.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Outside of work, Dr. Nguyen has two college-bound students whom she loves spending quality time with. You can regularly find her at their activities and sports events – her son is passionate about soccer and her daughter loves volleyball. She is also a big traveler and has visited many countries. Reading is a big hobby as well.
